In accordance with paragraph 10.7 of the Rules of Association of Reconciliation WA Inc. (RWA), it is a requirement that nominations of candidates for election as Board members will be called for at least 45 days prior to the Annual General Meeting of the Association at which elections will be held.
The Annual General Meeting will be held on Tuesday 3 December 2024 at 4pm.
The current Board members who are required to stand down / cease as RWA Board members under the Rules of Association at the Annual General Meeting and whether they are standing for re-election are as follows:
Name | Ceasing at AGM | Standing for re-election |
Nolan Hunter, Aboriginal Co-Chair | Yes
Carolyn Davies, Aboriginal Board Member | Yes
Meg O’Neill, Non-Aboriginal Board Member | Yes |
Nominations are now open to all RWA members who wish to nominate as a candidate for election as a Board member. We strongly encourage Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to nominate.
In 2024, there are four (4) RWA Board positions open and two (2) Board Members re-standing for election. We are actively seeking nominees with experience in finance to fill the role of Treasurer.
To do so please complete the following instructions:
